Solarpunk Renaissance - November Newsletter

Kia Ora,

Welcome to the Biome Newsletter, November edition, featuring updates from our Giftees & local ecosystem.

It’s now clear that the scale of the social, ecological crises facing humanity demands transformational changes to the way we live, as well as the way we think.

As we navigate through these times, we might ask ourselves - what does a truly sustainable civilisation actually look like? What can be saved from our current paradigm? And how do we get there?

Art has the power to shape our attitudes, connect us to our senses, enliven our sense of creativity. Great art can help us to identify with one another, expanding our notion of we - beyond our local worldview.

Artwork can inspire visions of that more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. It can make the world felt. And this felt feeling may spur thinking, engagement, and even action.

Welcome to Solarpunk, a transformative art movement that is refuturing our Imagination for an Ecological Transformation spotlighted below by our friends at One Earth.

With that, please enjoy this monthly digest.
